N.West Scotland has some of the best biking roads in the whole of the UK and we are a biking family, which is why this bit is here. We always try and travel up to the chalet on our bikes rather than the car because as a base location for touring, N.W. Sutherland has few equals. Try a day trip down to Applecross from the chalet and you will see just exactly what we mean.

It doesn't matter whether you just want to bimble along taking in the surroundings or enjoy fantastic ride-outs and explore the region, there is something here for everyone. The sense of freedom that every biker understands, and the uncrowded open road stretching out in front of you, means that each and every trip is an adventure that you don't want to end.
