Further along is the Cabar Feidh pub / restaurant which has a good range
of food, served either in the restaurant or at the tables in the bar,
which looks out over the bay. There are tables and chairs outside on
the grass at the rear and when the sun is shining, the views are splendid.
Check the opening times during autumn & winter months.
Almost
next door is the Bistro that is well-known for its pies which
you can eat in, as a meal, or take away.
Lochinver
has its own pottery which produces some superb hand-painted
articles which are both unusual and unique. Well worth visiting
the factory shop and if they are not too busy, you can sometimes
have a look around the factory and see pottery being made
and decorated. They usually have some good bargains - seek
and ye shall find.
