Bookings
are taken on a first come first served basis. A non-refundable deposit of
£100 is required for each week, or short break, booked. A booking
is only firm once the owners receive the deposit. Once a deposit has been
received, confirmation of the booking will be made, normally via e-mail.
It is the Hirers responsibility to ensure that the final balance is paid
one month before occupancy of the chalet. If the balance is not received,
the owners reserve the right to re-let the chalet without notice being given.
A damage
assurance payment of £50, which must be paid separately, is required
to cover breakages, other damage or loss, or if the chalet is left in such
a condition that additional cleaning is required. There will be a period of
up to 7 days after your stay to ascertain if there has been any loss or damage
after which the assurance payment will be refunded. Payment can be made by
either cheque or via internet banking. Paypal is also accepted by arrangement,
however the hirer must cover the charge made by Paypal. Confirmation of receipt
of any payment will usually be made via e-mail.
The weekly
hire period is Saturday to Saturday. Short break hire is by arrangement. Occupancy
of the chalet is from 16:00 hrs on the first day of hire and must be vacated
by 10:00 hrs on the last day of hire. Duvets and pillows are provided. The
hirer should bring their own bed linen and towels or these can be supplied
upon request at an additional cost of £15. On vacating the chalet,
please leave it in the condition you would expect to find it. Cleaning equipment
and materials are supplied.
Pets (of
any size) are not allowed in the chalet. Smoking is not allowed in the chalet.
Electricity is provided via a meter which takes £1 coins. If
hired during the months of October through till March, on your arrival at
the chalet the water may need to be turned on and turned off when you leave.
