Bookings are taken on a first come basis. A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required for each week booked. A booking is only firm once the owners receive the deposit. Once a deposit has been received, confirmation of the booking will be made, normally via e-mail. It is the Hirers responsibility to ensure that the final balance is paid one month before occupancy of the chalet. If the balance is not received, the owners reserve the right to re-let the chalet without notice being given.

A damage assurance payment of £50, which must be paid separately, is required to cover breakages, other damage or loss, or if the chalet is left in such a condition that additional cleaning is required. In such circumstances, any outstanding balance will be refunded. Once it has been ascertained that no loss or damage has occurred, the payment is fully refundable. Payment can be made by either cheque or via internet banking. Paypal is also accepted however the hirer must cover the charge made by Paypal. Confirmation of receipt of any payment is normally made via e-mail.

Occupancy of the chalet is from 16:00 hrs on the first day of hire. You must vacate the chalet by 09:00 hrs on the last day of hire. Duvets and pillows are provided. The hirer should bring their own bed linen and towels however, these can be supplied at an additional cost of £15 pw. On vacating the chalet, please leave it in the condition you would expect to find it. Cleaning equipment and materials are supplied. Pets are not allowed in the chalet. There is a £15 per week electricity surcharge which applies to all bookings made between beginning of October through till end of April. If hired during the months of October through till March, on arrival at the chalet, the water may need to be turned on (check by turning on the taps). Please follow the instruction leaflet, which can be found on the wall inside the chalet, which gives full details of how to do this. On vacating the chalet, please ensure that the water is turned off and the system drained down as shown in the instruction leaflet.
